What's Next

Resume Vulcan launch cadence

Complete root-cause analysis and corrective actions from the USSF-87 solid-rocket-motor anomaly, then return Vulcan to its planned national-security and commercial launch rhythm.

2026

Atlas V final missions

Fly Leo 6 and the final two Amazon Leo missions on Atlas V, then finish the platform's retirement as ULA shifts the remaining Kuiper backlog onto Vulcan.

2026

Execute Phase 3 national security backlog

Convert the April 2025 Phase 3 win into a sustained Vulcan manifest, with mission orders spanning fiscal years 2025-2029 and launches running through 2034.

Operations & Revenue

StatusOperational

Operational since 2006. Atlas V is in its final Amazon Leo campaign, and Vulcan is in service for national security and commercial missions while ULA completes corrective actions from the USSF-87 solid-motor anomaly before the next Vulcan flight.

Revenue Streams

National Security Launches

Primary revenue source β€” ULA won 40% of the Space Force's NSSL Phase 3 Lane 2 missions for the most demanding national-security orbits.

NASA Missions

Launch services for NASA science missions including Mars rovers, solar probes, and crewed Starliner flights.

Commercial Launches

Commercial launch services anchored by Amazon's Leo constellation campaign, with three Atlas V launches and 38 Vulcan launches remaining after Leo 5.
