Overview

A five-seat electric SUV built as a global tech flagship on the same 800V platform as the GX, sharing its core platform technology with aviation-grade safety redundancy design.

Launched in China on September 17, 2026 at official prices of RMB241,800-319,800 across six variants, with a limited-time RMB10,000 cut for orders placed before November 15 taking the entry price to RMB231,800 - below the RMB259,800 pre-sale figure opened on August 11. Trims span a rear-wheel-drive 702 km BEV Max, 660 km and 755 km all-wheel-drive BEV Ultra versions, and two all-wheel-drive extended-range trims rated 435 km electric and 1,602 km combined, all on an 800V platform. He Xiaopeng said deliveries begin the same month. On September 11, 2026 the first right-hand-drive G9L SUVs rolled off the Guangzhou line, with the first batch bound for Australia; XPeng says the model will enter 64 countries and regions, will also be built at Magna's Graz plant in Austria as its fourth European-assembled model, and gets its global launch at the Paris Motor Show on October 12. Australian pricing has not been announced. It is the first XPeng model to ship the latest second-generation VLA stack, with VLA Lite coming to the single-Turing-chip Max trim.
