Overview

Boeing's newest-generation F-15 fighter for the U.S. Air Force and export customers, combining a modernized airframe and avionics with the F-15 family's high weapons payload as part of the Air Force's fighter 'high-low' mix alongside the F-35.

In active low-rate production for the U.S. Air Force with roughly 90 jets in the delivery pipeline as of mid-2026, working toward a two-jet-per-month goal. The Air Force's FY2027 budget request roughly doubled the planned fleet to 267 aircraft, and Boeing's F-15EX/F-15IA production line is reported effectively sold out through 2034-2035 on the strength of that expansion plus export orders, including an $8.6B Pentagon-brokered deal announced in January 2026 to supply F-15IA variants to Israel.
