BYD's Denza Z9S is a mid-to-large battery-electric sedan launched in China on September 23, 2026. The Flash Charge Premium and Flagship are rear-drive 370 kW cars with CLTC ranges of 920 km and 1,100 km; the e3 Flash Charge Performance uses an 890 kW tri-motor setup, 780 km CLTC, and a claimed 2.68-second 0-100 km/h time. Denza said the Flagship's 1,100 km CLTC figure is a record among mass-produced battery-electric cars. CarNewsChina lists 102.326 kWh packs on the Premium and Performance and 122.496 kWh on the Flagship, with Denza claiming 10% to 70% flash charging in five minutes.

Launch the Denza Z9S sedan
Local Chinese auto media reported on September 16, 2026 that Denza will officially launch the Z9S electric sedan on September 23, about seven weeks after August 3 pre-sales. Denza has not yet posted the date on its own social channels. Pre-sale prices are 319,800-389,800 yuan across three trims claiming 780, 920 and 1,100 km CLTC range from a 102.3 kWh second-generation Blade Battery, with flash charging (10% to 70% in 5 minutes) and a tri-motor variant of 890 kW / 2.68 s 0-100. Watch for final on-sale prices and whether Denza restates the 1,100 km claim as a mass-produced BEV range record.
