Overview

All-electric performance sedan competing directly with the Tesla Model 3. Features Blade Battery, available dual-motor AWD, and BYD's cell-to-body (CTB) technology that integrates the battery into the vehicle structure.

In production since 2022 and sold across China, Europe, and Australia. Refreshed in China as the Seal 07 EV in March 2026 with BYD's second-generation Blade battery and a lower entry price; the European MY2026 Seal saloon retains the larger 82.5 kWh pack.
