Barracuda

Overview
Family of low-cost, air-breathing autonomous cruise missiles (Barracuda-100/250/500) designed for mass production with commercial components - Anduril's answer to America's munitions-capacity problem. Variants span air, ground (surface-launched SLB/Barracuda-500M), and pallet-airdrop launch, with the 500-class reaching roughly 900 km. A May 2026 production agreement with the Department of War covers at least 3,000 surface-launched Barracuda-500M systems over three years (~1,000/year, first deliveries H1 2027), a July 2026 framework agreement targets thousands of air-launched Barracuda-500s per year, Poland's PGZ will build the surface-launched Barracuda-500M locally, and an Embraer MoU is integrating a palletized Barracuda-500M on the C-390 transport.
In flight testing; DoW production agreement signed May 13, 2026 for the surface-launched Barracuda-500M; Poland (PGZ/WZL-2) signed on July 6, 2026 to build it locally as the first European production site; Embraer signed a July 21, 2026 MoU to launch it from the C-390; production at Arsenal-1 in Ohio is slated to begin by end of 2026
