Fury (FQ-44A)

Overview

Jet-powered, semi-autonomous Collaborative Combat Aircraft designed to fly as a robotic wingman alongside F-35s, F-22s, and the F-47. Fury flew 556 days after clean-sheet design start and in June 2026 was ordered into production by the Air Force - the first combat jet produced by a defense startup. Anduril executives said on September 14, 2026 that the unit cost is well below $20 million at currently contemplated quantities, beating the earlier ~$30M (about a third of an F-35) target, and that a Fury has already flown in formation alongside F-35s, though the fighter is not yet controlling it.
